Clear expectations make for a better therapeutic relationship. Please review the policies below, and don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Confidentiality
Everything you share in our sessions is confidential. I will not release your information to others without your written consent. There are a small number of legal exceptions to this. If information is disclosed about current or past abuse of a minor, elderly person, or person with a disability, I am required by law to report this to the appropriate state agency. I’m happy to answer any questions about confidentiality before or during our work together.
Coordinating with Other Providers
If another healthcare provider has referred you, I may benefit from communicating with them to coordinate your care. This is entirely your choice, and I will always respect your wishes regarding privacy. Please let me know if you’d prefer to limit my contact with other providers.
Crisis & Emergencies
Our sessions are the right place to work through day-to-day struggles. However, if you experience a mental health crisis — including persistent thoughts of harming yourself or others, or a sense that your thoughts or behaviors are out of control — please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. You may also call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) at any time.
Scheduling & Cancellations
Consistent, scheduled sessions tend to produce the best outcomes. When we schedule a recurring appointment, that time is held exclusively for you.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so I can offer that time to another client. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to an $80 fee, which is not covered by insurance.
To reschedule, call 314-609-6772 and leave a message. If your appointment is on a Monday, be sure to call by the Friday before.

Select insurance plans are accepted. Please call or email to confirm whether your plan is in-network before scheduling.
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If using insurance, I can file directly on your behalf. Please bring your insurance information and sign the assignment form at your first visit. You are ultimately responsible for any fees not covered by your insurance plan.
Before Your First Appointment
To save time at your first visit, intake forms are available to download, complete, and bring with you. You can fill out the insurance form electronically before printing and signing.
